Every bottle is individually wrapped in foam sleeves and loaded into temperature-stable wine transport cases. We track inventory on a per-bottle manifest — you receive a digital copy before we leave. For cellars over 500 bottles, we dispatch our dedicated wine logistics team with a climate-controlled vehicle. Zero breakage guarantee on all collections.
Yes. We operate 7 days a week, including statutory holidays. Sunday moves are available at standard rates — no weekend surcharge. For C-suite transfers arriving at Pearson Friday evening with a Monday start date, we offer priority Sunday scheduling with a guaranteed 8am crew arrival. Book at least 72 hours in advance to secure your preferred time.
Completely. Our logistics coordinator contacts your building management 5 business days before your move, books the freight elevator, confirms parking permits, and coordinates with the superintendent. We've worked in every major condo tower on King West, Bay Street, and Yorkville. If there's a loading dock, we know its hours.
We disassemble the legs and pedal lyre, wrap the case in quilted moving blankets, then secure it on a purpose-built piano board with ratchet straps rated to 2,000 lbs. The instrument travels in a padded section of our vehicle, isolated from other items. On arrival, a certified piano technician tunes the instrument — included in your quote. We've moved Steinways into Forest Hill homes, Rosedale estates, and a recording studio on King East.
We survey every staircase before moving day. Our team uses a combination of furniture disassembly (where possible), furniture sliders, and stair-climbing dollies rated to 800 lbs. For extremely narrow passages — common in Cabbagetown and the Annex — we hoist through windows when necessary, using a rated rigging system. No wall damage. We carry touch-up paint for every job.
Full-replacement valuation on all items — not depreciated value. $2M general liability. Separate fine art and instrument rider available for collections exceeding $500K. Our certificate of insurance is emailed to you 48 hours before your move date. We're licensed and bonded in Ontario. Our broker is BFL Canada; policy available on request.
